I have this same problem with my cats. The hair is everywhere! I use the lint rollers to get the hair off of my clothes, and I think I've gotten it all but as soon as I step outside I notice hair all over my clothes. I love to wear black, but I'm thinking of giving it up because of all of the...
Oh my gosh, you sound like my twin! I have these exact same problems. I hate applying lotion, however, I will break down once in a while and use lotion because my legs will get unbearably itchy if I don't.
Lizziemaine, I think I do have it diluted that much. I agree with how slippery it is. It...
Sadly, this is what I do. Maybe I just have a bad spray bottle. It comes out in big drops of water and instead of getting my hair, it gets my face and clothes. It gets semi dry before I get it rolled because I spend so much time fussing over it to get it rolled correctly. lol
Do you have anything in your beauty routine that has you seeing red? I thought I'd start this thread for ladies to come and vent about things in our routine that are not a particular favorite.
I'll start, I have a few but I'll list two for now.
My first is setting my hair, it drives me...
I adore leopard print! That being said, I don't think I have anything in leopard. :(
However, I found the prettiest coat in Macy's. At first I thought maybe it'd be too over the top, since I already get some strange stares, but as soon as I put it on I felt so glamourous. Sadly, I'm broke at...
I watched Dark Passage with Bogart and Bacall the other day. It thought it was a pretty good movie, I always like them in movies together. I'm watching Platinum Blonde right now.
I watched Macao last night and loved it. Jane Russell is fantastic and I think Robert Mitchum and Russell were a good onscreen couple.
I missed the Astaire and Rogers movies today on TCM, I was bummed but I was busy cooking so I couldn't watch and no one else was interested in watching them.
The one beauty accident that came to mind still makes me cringe!
I was curling my eyelashes with an eyelash curler and my hand slipped. It ripped out a bunch of eyelashes from the inner corner of my eye. It hurt sooooooo bad! My eyes are watering just thinking about it. Also, my eye felt funny...
I think your outfit sounds appropriate for your interview. It still has the vintage flair to it and they are used to seeing you in a vintage style so it would probably be a little odd to them if you went completely opposite of what they're used to seeing you in. Good Luck with the interview!
To me, this part of your original post sounds like a personal belief. Personally, I do not know anything about Katherine or Audrey Hepburn, so I can't answer your question fully as to whether or not I'd want them to be a role model for my daughter if I had one. The little I do know about...
I agree. I'm always excited to see what she's going to wear. Her outfits are so over the top but they are fun to look at and I think she's the only person that can pull it off. I'd never be caught dead in the things she wears but it works for her.
The shoes Fleur was talking about...
The Blind Side
My fella and I went to see The Blind Side today. We both thought it was fantastic! Of course, I'm a sucker for true sports movies that show the underdog overcoming the odds. The only down side today was the hoard of Twilight fans that held up the line for tickets.
I agree C-dot, he was disgusting. The guy you described sounded pretty disgusting also! Good for you for standing up to him. I would have gotten off the bus also.
VintageVixie, I'm not quite sure what it means either but I don't really want to know. Sacramento was a culture shock for me even...
ShoreRoadLady I love Clinique's Almost Honey, it's one of my favorites!
fortworthgal I have never tried anything from Aveda. I'll have to look into those.
Fleur That shade of lipstick is really pretty.
C-dot Purple lipstick sounds fun. Those are pretty, too bad they were limited!
I...
Crismans was saying that Kentucky was always portrayed that way and I was just saying that I have never thought of Kentucky in that way. In fact, it's one of the places I'd like to visit.
Those shoes seriously creep me out! It looks like the back of someone's head. If I wore those I think they'd startle me every time I looked down at my feet.
The skeleton dress? No thank you! I don't want my own bones showing through so I wouldn't want pretend bones poking out either. I agree...
