I'd seen this video before but I always enjoy seeing it again! I think it's hauntingly beautiful, that's the best way I can describe it. There are so many great pieces individually, but then to be strung together in an almost video timeline of femininity - I think it's great!

I agree. I'll admit, I'm more inclined to think of the Ricardos' apartment in I Love Lucy rather than the requisite diner/soda shop, when thinking of the 50s. Granted, that too was a set, but it didn't look "plastic" if that makes sense.

I got word back from Sara earlier tonight that we're confirmed for a follow-up interview in October, around the time that her father's movies are sure to be in heavy rotation. Since I'll be out in LA by that time, I'm not sure if it'll be in-person or over the phone yet. We'll see!
