I've seen some really intriguing cocktail recipes with this as an ingredient:

I love floral-flavoured things and the bottle is so gorgeous it looks like something perfume would be in.
Proper ballroom shoes actually are suede-soled, which you brush up on a regular basis - like chanteuseCarey says, if you wear them outdoors the soles will be buggered in no time flat.
This one is delicious, and I've just ordered the Amarelli Liquorice Mint flavour (the tube goes beautifully with my bathroom decor!)

Just a thought - it seems that the products which rate the highest in terms of lead content are owned by companies who test on animals or who have done so in the fairly recent past...
Some of those Rockalily lipsticks look intriguing - I wish you could get swatches or something!
(Sorry fellas, girl poking her head in here...)
I think what you describe is pretty normal. Speaking for myself, my watch list is much much longer than my "to buy" list. I either watch stuff as an informal education, to see how much things will go for in whatever condition they happen to be...
And the same can be said about all of these devices and gadgets which were meant to simplify our lives - mobile phones, email, etc. - which are the same kind of double-edged swords.
I don't think that the information (and misinformation) overload that we're subjected to on a daily basis has...

I know what you mean, about the bridal/medical thing, but I think that like there are "hat people", there are "white shoe" people. I mean, people who can wear them without looking like they're off to change a bedpan or tie the knot! (I wouldn't qualify, for sure, with my gunboats encased in...
I'm drooling over these in green...
