Lady Day, that is the coolest Seltzer bottle! I can't believe you got it for $15! I'm about as green as the bottle with envy. Green and red...oh man. Lucky Lady!!:D
Miss Hannah, I love your do's, pins and all. ;) To be honest, the only time I try to make sure pins aren't showing is if it is a photo shoot, or wedding or something like that. The truth is, it is very hard to make sure pins do not show, and even more hard with Red hair. There is just no...
Vintage Betty, your hair looks beautiful! I love the softness of it. It's GREAT Birthday Hair!!!
And A very Happy and Wonderful Birthday to you!!!!!!:D :D :D

Went out, for once in my life, the other night and did up my hair... first time since the color and cut, I think I like having shorter hair better than longer hair. ;)
Miss Neecerie, I can't believe how different you look with the bangs and dark hair. i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it!!!!! You look so hot!
ok, I just had to say that.:D
I know exactly what you mean, as I've had the same thing happen with mine. The thing I found that works the best (for me) was I had to make sure the teeth were totally all the way to the scalp, so that it would grab all the hair.
I think it came out great though!:)
Maybe Epr25 and...
After checking out the book, I have to agree with the crispy look. But I have always used pomade, and my hair has never looked crispy. Always soft and shiny. It might feel crispy because of the hairspray though! ;)
Also, I use "traditional" hair pomades and dressings.. none of that fancy...
oh man, why do I come in here?? :eusa_doh: Every time you gals post a new hair gadget I am coveting it! lol I just love hair stuff so trying anything new is a good idea to me! This waver does look quite nice and easy to use. I think by the looks of it, I might like it better than the...
Those are fabulous Lady Day and such a good way to use up scrap fabric! I love the button idea to keep them from falling off! I have the same problem. It's terribly annoying!
ooh! I saw that navy dress!! It makes me think of wear wool black stocking with it and a matching blue bonnet and going to the beach with my parasol.
You know, like in the movie, Cheaper by the Dozen?:D
Personally, I like your color as is, it's beautiful! but I understand wanting a change, so my opinion on that is, if you can find L'oreal Color Pulse, they have an Electric Black color. It washes out in about 4-8 shampoos. I've used the red, burgundy and copper colors, and they are all real...
I love my 1/2" iron. I can only use it for touch ups, like Lolita, or when I do my bangs. And by bangs, I mean not longer than 5 inches. It gives a good solid brushed out curl, great for fluffy bangs, and I think you could get a nice wave out of it.
My friend in Indiana told me about freecycle and cheapcycle, and she used hem all the time, when we moved back to California, I signed up for the freecycle in the bay area (i was living with my folks at the time) and then where I am now. We LOVE freecycle! I've definitely given more away, but...
