Today is a good day

Thanks DJH. I really love what Art has done for me and for all the people that have had the pleasure of receiving a hat made him. I recently just took a pic of this hat along with a Whippet (in the whippet thread) and a Cavanagh. I really need to expand into different colors! -

Ever buy a hat because of where it's from?
I REALLY want to get the hat, but I'm worried it won't fit. It's 7 1/8 & I'm a 7 1/4. I normally wouldn't be worried about it, but I know my luck and it's telling me the hat has done some shrinking. Of course I could just put it up like a trophy, but it's a hat and it should be worn! -

That's really not a bad idea at all. If I had to pick one though, I'd go with the VS. The experience with working with Art is just unforgettable and to have one of his hats is unbelievable. Actually this reminds me I really need to post a pic of the hat he made me. -

Ever buy a hat because of where it's from?
Out of curiosity, I googled the name of the store "The Man Store" (where the hat was originally sold) here in Asheville, NC and found a pic from 1964. Located on the right. I also found a pic from 1927, but the image is huge and didn't look right in the thread. -
