These spectators are all wonderful; especially the brown and white versions.

    Narrow ties

Anyone else like 'em? I have a preference for anything between 1.5" and 3", although I'll go up to 3.25" sometimes. They generally came in shorter lengths, and I find they look proper without being too 'loud', so to speak. Any thoughts?

Denim is Inappropriate for the Golden Era

Don't own any denim, here. If I have rough stuff to do it's khakis for me, and for everything else either a suit or wool trousers/jacket.

well, its finally cold enough to wear my jacket collection...

The Bedford looks great; here in Toronto it's been jacket weather for a full month, tweeds and sweaters galore.

How many suits do you own?

I own three: 2 blue and one charcoal, all double-breasted with wide lapels - just as I like 'em. It's a whim of mine to make sure that all my suits are double-breasted and all my sports jackets single-breasted.

    1960s One-Star Schott Perfecto

Bump. I feel that $100 + shipping (or a trade) is a fair price for this jacket. The generic One-Star steerhide model retails for around $720 US, and it doesn't have half the panache of this one.

Vintage Picking and Road Tripping with Dinerman

Nice braces. There's no way I could make a business out of vintage hunting - I'd just end up keeping everything that even somewhat fit! Fascinating journeys, though. A lot of that country brings back memories of when I was traveling the States as well.

New Ladies and Gents Step Forward

Decided to join a little while ago after browsing for some time - I actually discovered this place while researching vintage suits. I'm from the outskirts of Toronto, with an interest in good literature, the outdoors, and classic suits from the 40s-60s. Most of my wardrobe is vintage as well; I...

    1960s One-Star Schott Perfecto

Hello, everyone. New member here - thought I'd make my first post something other members might benefit from. I'm selling a 1960s (I believe) Schott Perfecto, model 615. They don't make em like this anymore, and it still has miles to go; just doesn't seem to fit my style these days. The...
