Just looking for something out of the norm for me, a darker color would be preferred: grey, dk blue, black, etc.

I was in High School when I first replied to this thread...strange huh now that I'm going to graduate College in a month.

I can second the recommendation for Blackhawk boots for a majority of uses, I have the "black-ops" model. I use them hiking, traveling, and around town.
I have one pair of black wingtips, and I love them...my odd size (9.5 eee in these shoes) prevents me from getting too many deals on the 'bay, but I got a brand new pair for approximately 80 dollars iirc.
Reminds me of how my rum and cokes towards the end of the night become a cup of rum with a dash of coke on top. :p
That does seem quite deadly, and I have everything on hand to make that except for sloe gin (but that is the cheapest of the cheap)...might be something to concoct after this...
To me, being in a college environment and seeing blue blazers being collectively "worn out" by the frat-boy element leaves the concept of owning one and wearing it a bad taste in my mouth.
Men in backwards ballcaps, blue blazers (with pastel dress shirts), khaki pants (or shorts) and sperrys...
I think people can take things to an extreme, as people I know personally pay 300+ dollars at local boutiques for a pair of pre-worn jeans that will last maybe 20 washes.
But, I do love me some dark boot-cut jeans for when I'm out and about. On principle, I've never paid more than 35-40...
