And on to hats...
Andy - it's a great colour that taupe.
Charlie - nice stingy! Again a great colour.
Jeff - Another fine Lords hat. I keep looking out for a vintage one in my size, but they're not common. I love all the bowler/homburg/lords hat family, and there are definitely blurred edges...
Thanks Eric. They're dry and the colours are pretty much true to life :) Tricker's Keswick - double leather soled and as solidly a built shoe as any from Northampton. I love Tricker's but the cost makes hats seem inexpensive... The colours extend the spectator wearing season a bit (I can't see...
Believe it or not they're from H&M last winter. A friend on another forum gave me a heads up - cheap, but wool, reasonably well made and wash well - I picked up a couple of pairs. I must have a look this winter to see if they have anything similar.

Steve - great ribbon on that Wegener
Jeff - A nice pair of hats. Interesting to see a Lords hat and you describe it as a soft-bowler -I'd always considered it a more casual homburg :)
David - nice stetson
M0nk - that Henry looks great on you.
dh66 - The OR looks good with the classic crease
Charlie - great hat on head, and some nice looking ones in the background too.
Andy - the beaded band suits the style of hat. Nice work.
Sam - 'snap' on the Sunday morning choice. A great weekend of hats.
Bigfitz - It's not a crease I'd wear in the UK, but it does look good.
Eric - if that...
Thanks - I'm confident the tape will hold - the remaining leak was literally a pin prick size and it's now wrapped in a heavy layer of silicone, the worry is one of the remaining bits of old pipe will now spring a leak. The plumber has replaced just about all the accessible pipework with...
