The Patey ones are quite different to the Christys/Bates/Lock models (very much riding/show hats). Christys still make Bowlers and toppers in England: http://www.christys-hats.com/aboutus.asp

Thanks - yes Woodrow bowlers are fairly common, but you don't see many of their fedoras. This was a lucky badly listed ebay find.
