Too many ties! What to do! How to store them!

Widebrim has seen the suitcase I tote my ties around in. I have a handful of vintage tie racks that bolt onto the wall, they even have little dials that help you coordinate your colors! The rest hang in the closet.

Only that last picture features Remix shoes, the rest look like Stacy Adams.

    Remix Has a Man's Shoe.

I have some from the first production run, so they may fit differently now. My only complaint is that the arch support is pretty intense and the heel can fit a little loosely. I usually wear a size 10, but I had to size down to a 9 & 1/2 to tighten up the spacey heel. The foot bed is...

I actually pay more attention to the waist details than the cuffs.

    How do you date trousers?

There is no magic bullet when it comes to definitively dating trousers or any other garment, you just have to invest years worth of study and observation. With that having been said, I recommend reviewing the threads dedicated to scans from department store catalogs. Memorizing these details...

High waisted pants & the body shape of the "larger" men.

Nipple-chafers don't look good on big guys. I say navel-level is a good height. High enough to keep bellies from spilling over, but not too high as to produce the Fred Mertz affect. I am by no means a big guy, but I do disproportionately carry most my weight around my midsection so I've...

    Show off the sports coats.

Well, it is wool and cashmere, which give it a warm and fuzzy look. The polyester lining isn't going to keep you any warmer, but I doubt that really matters.

Bespoke trousers - extremely heavy vintage linen twill - a pictorial review

Great trousers! I also would echo the suggestion to scoot the straps about 3 centimeters closer to the center.

    High rise khakis

I have to second the recommendation for Buzz Ricksons.

Sweater sizes - baggy versus tight-fitting

This came up in a google image search for '1930 sweaters,' I believe it is the cover to a knitting book. This style of pullover sweater has become quite popular in the reproduction market due to its association with vintage motorcyle sweaters.

    How to edit thread title?

On that note, how do I edit a post in the 'vintage finds' section that has already been posted? There used to be a button alongside the 'reply' button, but I don't see it anymore on my interface.
