Popular fabric choices for blouses in the 1940's?
If anyone has a website that breaks down fabrics most commonly used in each era and why, i would be thankful.
As someone who is small busted but fairly round in the middle, anyone know of a long line padded bra for plus size or one where i would be able to sew in my own padding? I would really be greatful.
I just found two high waisted pants for myself at JCP from American living. One reminds me something you see more in the late 50's early 60's (i think) the others are jeans with two small pockets in front and are longer to allow cuffing, 40's 50's (maybe?) I am only 5 foot 5 inches and htey...
fabirc.com has tons of fabric im just falling in love with so i thought id stock up on some- what is a decent amount of yards to have if you don't know 100% yet what you want to do with it?
INKY, i just love these on you!
i got these myself and while i can get them on and ziped, i can't do much else. It might be time to work off that holiday weight. I really wanna keep mine.
I'd like to get a copy of the readers digest guide to sewing but i am coming across many editions. Can anyone tell me if one year is better than the other? Iv seen :
1969
1976
1978
1979
1983
2002
ect ect.
Thank you.
