The Parisian Apartment sealed up for 70 years! Amazing time capsule!
The case of Huguette Clark comes to mind. At first it was thought that she was a recluse but it turned out she hadn't lived in the apartment (or her other incredible properties) for years but instead stayed in a hospital suite.- Tomasso

Formal jacket or casual?
The jacket was most likely orphaned (formerly part of a suit) and therefore can be tricky to match with odd trousers. Here's a dark chalk stripe flannel jacket with light grey flannel trousers which I think looks pretty good. I suppose you could reverse the look and try your light grey... -
