Speak of the devil, the Gillette Super Speed I bought off eBay as my new travel razor just arrived with a Gillette Blue Blade still in it.
Don't think I'll be using it though...
That's incredible. I only wish there had been a good representation of Moscow and St Petersburg. It's always neat (to me) to see a heavily urbanized area from a time before all the skyscrapers and apartment complexes. When some of the impressive churches were really the highlights of the skyline.
The prices are insane. I got my Gillette Adjustable - slim handle for about $20 on eBay because the seller had incorrectly listed it as a Fatboy and all the other bidders dropped out when he corrected it.
I just looked at eBay and there's one just like mine that's been bid up to $60. There are...
For me, it's more that last semester's finals week was an interruption in my lab work. Then it was out to the field, back to the lab, out to sea, back in the lab. The only difference that the semester starting is going to make is that there are going to be a bunch of undergrads running around...
Home-made sangria in 3 easy steps:
Step 1: Get cheap wine, brandy, and a bunch of fruit

Are they retro-cool or "hey buddy, you aren't a SEAL"?
I earned my way through college (scholarship and menial labor), joined the Navy, lived well below my means to save up for graduate school. Now I'm about to finish grad school and job prospects are pretty dim.
While doing thesis research, I stayed with my parents for a month this summer and...
I definitely have "country club" associations with them, and Dan Aykroyd's buddies in "Trading Places".
Which is to say I only have one out of four letters in WASP apply to me and that just isn't enough for me to like the Guccis.
It seems that less and less often I know people who enjoy smoking and drinking like we do here.
I'm not a smoker, so to speak. I smoke sometimes because I enjoy it. Cigarettes, cigars, pipe, hookah. I'm not a nicotine addict - at the most, I was up to a pack of cigarettes a month and a bowl a...
I wonder if it's any good.
I mean, methods and technology (including cleaning technology) have been refined and improved over the years. We probably ferment the best beer and wine the world has ever seen in the present.
