    Spear point collar shirts

Here is the 1940s California collar shirt that I clamored El Pachuco to reproduce a few years back. Not 100% cotton, but like Flat-Top said, it is a inexpensive alternative for those looking for such. They still have them in stock for about $30.

The Thread to Display Your 1940s Suits

Draws, I recommend starting a new thread to help identify your suit because: (a) Your post can go potentially overlooked in this thread and go unanswered (b) "The Thread to Display your 19XX Suits" threads are meant to be light on conversation and heavy on pictures. I'm not trying to be...

    University Student: Cheap backpack alternatives?

Ok I am going to chime in even though you have a bag already. As a doctoral student who wears vintage clothing everyday yet has to lug around my macbook around campus, I've tried a variety of totes, from backpacks (butt-ugly) to brief cases (simply killer on my arms). I settled on a rotation...

So I Think I Found My Leather Jacket...

So..... can anyone help me date this label? I know the one below is from the 1950s, but is the label above from before or after then?

    The casualization of the world

The guy is a sneakerphile, he has as much a right to pay ridiculous amounts of money for something that others may see little value in as any of the vintage clothing enthusiasts on the Fedora Lounge. I collect striped t-shirts. They are pretty much worthless, but I like how they look on...

An Appeal to the Yanks Around Here

This sat at La Rosa in SF for years and I was always bummed that it never fit me. Since I lost a little weight this past year, I tried the jacket on again earlier this month. I got it to button; albeit very snugly!

So I Think I Found My Leather Jacket...

Last night I picked up a new horsehide jacket... it is another Windward. As soon as I got it, I went to my Montgomery Wards catalog and found my jacket! Can anyone help me date the label? As a result I am parting with my 4 pound, long half-belt. If anyone is interested I can send you the...

    3 1940s Pendleton Jackets

Normally, I would be up for a trade, but I am trying to thin out the herd! The cut of this jacket was introduced in the 1940s and then used until the early 1950s. By the mid 1950s they redesigned the collar.

Not with the trousers, but I have some of their knit shirts. Very well made, and Angelo is great to deal with!

    My custom-made Grizzly Palomino jacket

Great jacket! I understand why you would block out your face due to privacy concerns, but why are your shoes/boots censored too?
