I agree with Paddy. Perhaps it's time to call it a day, if you're not enjoying yourself anymore. I do feel for you.
I do think Sheeplady has a point though, you can pick up cute, retro crockery and glasses really reasonably. Non matching sets of glasses are rather de rigeur these days...
I agree, lovely finds Miss G. I would say the second mirror is indeed Edwardian. The first forties or fifties. I love the glass on the second one. It amazes me you can pick up these lovely quality looking glasses with nice bevelled edges so cheaply. Believe me i went to a glaziers to have some...
Yes me too, i have been a bit down in the frumps lately, one hair disaster after another, the usual kind of thing, i just get days when i think perhaps i should just get a nice bob and dress like everyone else. But i soon snap out of it. You are not alone.
Rue - Beautiful as ever. I thought we...
It has a huge pom-pom, mink covered button as a closure at the top, i am a covered button fiend, so i knew it was for me. Thanks for your kind words. x
Thank you darling! Actually as i said, it just goes with anything really, you can chuck it on over any coat or jacket and it looks great. One of my better purchases i have to say!
I know you enjoy fur, so i can share, that for my birthday i did treat myself to a lovely Saga mink jacket, 1950's...
Here she is, or a similar photo at least. Mine has really lovely sea spray patination, with lots of greys, browns and whites running through it, which i have been told is the mark of excellent quality fox fur, it also makes it beautiful and rather versatile in my opinion.
I think i posted how lovely it looks in combination with the red, but i'll say it again. It sure is a classy colour combo.:D
At the moment, my staple seems to be a huge thirties artic fox collar. It seems to work with my forties and fifties coats really well, plus it's just so pretty and warm...
Lovely as ever Daisy. I love the red on you, it really suits you so well. I like the combination of the colour of the collar and the dress too, very chic. Once again, well done. x
MMM, me too, it's to die for! Yep, spill the beans!
Miss G - lovely buys as always. I agree, i bet the first dress will look stunning on. Is that little rhinestone buttons round the waist? I love all the other dresses too, i love the style of the blue one, plus i think the burnt orange and the...
I love this outfit. You look very elegant and beautiful. I love the way your red bracelet picks out the colour in your bouquet, (the flowers are to die for as well). I hope married life is treating you well.
Miss S x
I have heard Clinique anti-redness foundation is very good for rosacea. I did try a sample on my generally manky, psoriasis prone skin and it covered really well.
OOOh i love ysl mascara. I'm always on the lookout for a HG foundation. I haven't tried any YSL before, and i must say have been a little put off by the built in brush thingy. What kind of coverage does it provide, if i may ask?

Your outfit and automobile sound wonderful though, i'm not surprised that lady was giving you the glad eye!!
