I have never seen a Laglitz IRL.
I have a Vanson CHP in comp. weight leather.
Compared to my Legendary Black Horse or the 2 vintage CHP jackets I own (btw, they are for sale) the thickness is similar to these.
I don't know what Lama means by huge underarm footballs??
I'd say Vanson...
holy thread hi-jack
I've triet to e-mail Vanson aboput sizing of their Womens Comet, and have not got a reply. How fast are those guys in replying.

Exactly my feelings too. It has never ever bothered me, and in a jacket that gets used as it's meant to be, rather than hang in a closet with other multi-hundred $ jackets that see no daylight, it's just a feature that the maker I believe has put in there for a reason, warmth.

I looked "work America" boots from Ebay, but the seller won't ship international. Bummer... [huh]
I guess I need to get another pair of Sendra Longhorns then

I've been looking at Ironhearts and going to get some this spring.
And they aren't more expensive as SugarCane 1947's here in Europe.

I used harness boots when I was younger. I started wearing boots when I was 15-16. Quite many boots ago...
Nowadays I use almost only engineer boots. My favourite pair is almost 6 years old Sendra Longhorn engineer boot. Durable and comfortable. They are worth of checking out.
I also have 17"...

Ps. I'll have to say, even one of the listers had...
1. It breathes somewhat, but if you ie. walk fast enough with your dog, surely back of your shirt will be moist. Normal walking, motorcycling etc, no problem. It breathes enough to my taste.
2. Haven't yet tried on motorcycle, but properly waxed should be watertight, at least my waxcotton...
