    The Open Road Guild

I just got a Shudde Bros. Open Road clone. I don't know anything about who they were when they made their hats etc. Can anyone enlighten me? Also, is there a source that can help me in dating my hat?

    STERKOWSKI FEDORAS

I own one. Bought it 2 years ago and wear it regularly. I live in the north US and wear it when it snows. Quality is average and if you are looking for the feel of a Stetson or Borsalino forget it. I consider it a Chevy hat. It beats wearing a baseball cap with a seed company logo on it. It's...

Actually as I can see your point but I believe going one better, banning all motorized vehicles and mandating real "horse power" would be best. You wouldn't have the pollution and you would be well below the 45mph you are proposing and thus eliminating your problem.

What's worse is when your trying to pass and they decide to speed up, in your blind spot of course, so you can't get in front of them.

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Maybe Iron Man 4 or 5 will be better. Look how Rocky improved with age. Which Rocky are we on 20 or 21?

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Actually think about it, it was MacMurry who was the coward. He was the one who pushed Van Johnson to mutiny. All Bogey was was a tired, insecure soul with ADD tendencies. Mel Ferrar really pointed it out at the end of the film.

So you're driving down a super highway speed is posted at 70mph and you're doing 80mph cause you figure the cops wont write you up til you are 12mph over. You're in the left lane making great time passing everyone and there's not a soul following behind. All of a sudden you see a truck on the...

The reason for the kerosene lamp cause no $$$$ no to electricity. Dad worked on a turkey farm. Very astute, it's Lester Gills all 5'4" 133 lbs. but definitely someone you didn't mess with.

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Great film. It marks one of the only times Fred Mac Murry played a heavy. The other role was in The Caine Mutiny. If you haven't seen it watch it. Humphrey Bogart plays his role fantastically.

Yeah I know what that's like. Sleeping 8 in a 3 room shack in northern WI. Dad had to go deer hunting in off season to feed us. Yeah and the outdoor plumbing, and how about 30 below and in the middle of the night with no electricity and a kerosene lamp stumbling to the outhouse? Or worse using...

Don't believe everything you're told. Most maxillay 1st molars have 4 roots. Just that they finally figured it out after having a lot of failures.

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

The Carpetbaggers is the film to watch especially if you are a Jean Harlow fan. Carroll Baker plays a mean Harlow star-slut image. She's a platinum blonde who's always on the make, and instead of drifting into Hughes' Hell's Angels, she provides George Peppard, who plays a pretty good Howard...

Glad you're a Sig guy. So you like S&W's also. I've got a low numbered Model 1917 nickle plated. I'll post it when I get a chance. As for being remiss, don't worry about it everyone makes mistakes. Happy it wasn't a costly one like having the barrel blocked.

As I do yours. As per The Elysian Fields, as you are uncertain as to what Tartarus can be compared to, I can only believe that your place of residence is New York State, and your reference to The Elysian Fields is geographic. If you are speaking mythological which I am uncertain, I can only tell...

Sounds like you found a very good dentist for your daughter. I just hope you found an equally good one for yourself.
