Wanted: Aero Bootlegger, HWM or Sheene

Still looking. Based on new information I think I'm now more of a 44 or even 46. Given the way these things are sized though, it seems any of 42-44-46 may fit depending on how they were made. :S

    Alterations of Aero jackets, aftermarket

Well, I may have to but I'm trying used for cost reasons. That may be unrealistic.

    Alterations of Aero jackets, aftermarket

Well, it's because I lift weights. I'm 6'1", 215-220, 46 inch chest, 33" waist. So most shirts I'm a XXL up top but the belly is like a blousy cinched Hefty bag above my belt. Unless I get alterations.

    Alterations of Aero jackets, aftermarket

Yeah, I'd wondered. It's just that when I see used jackets these are all over. Even so, I haven't seen a used one yet in my size. And I'm looking used of course for cost. I'm leaning more to a Sheene or Bootlegger anyway, but with so many HWM out there I'd wondered if I got it altered would...

    Alterations of Aero jackets, aftermarket

I've been looking for weeks for a used Aero jacket - due to my body dimensions, finding one my size has been a challenge. I wanted a more tapered design like the Sheene or Bootlegger, but the most common one I've seen by far is the Highwayman. They're cool, but not ideal for what I was after -...

New member needing info on a nice travel leather coat/jacket

I wanted to second this. Indonesia is famous for their leather crafts. I have gotten two pairs of boots from there. I know footwear is maybe unrelated to jackets but maybe an Indonesian maker could produce what you need? Here's a pic of my boots built totally to my specs from Indonesia.

Wanted: Aero Bootlegger, HWM or Sheene

Still looking. I'm having bad luck with the sizes. I think I'm either a 42 or 44 depending on the jacket.

Wanted: Aero Bootlegger, HWM or Sheene

Sounds like a wild cross section, but I'm looking for the above jackets. Bootlegger more than most, and a toss up between the other two. My problem is sizing. There's a HWM in the classifieds I really wanted to buy but I determined I'm too big for it. I *think* I need a size 42, but...
