I haven't seen the movie but Christine is one of my favourite Stephen King novels. King has written some of the best horror and non-horror fiction but sadly most of it has not translated well to the screen (apart from the wonderful Shawshank Redemption which is naturally the first to spring to...

Does anyone remember having to take a tonic as a child called Radiomulsion? It tasted a little like lemon curd and came in a large brown glass bottle - I think it was discontinued many years ago - I LOVED the stuff!
Miss Sofia - you're so right - you can't go wrong with a sheath dress - I think it suits women of all ages (and you do have to spoil your old Mum!).
MissChloeCorville - thank you - and that is a beautiful lingerie set.....
Sorry if this has been posted before but I just saw this today - remarkable doesn't cover it:

I thought this lovely blouse would go great with the cigarette pants I bought recently:
I had my eye on this Cover Girl of Miami dress for some time now:
Les Parapluies de Cherbourg (The Umbrellas of Cherbourg) - I made my husband watch this last night - I had a feeling that once he got used to them singing throughout he would like it - and he did!
Puzzicato - no worries at all - I was only thinking after I wrote that whether you meant my coat or Miss Sofia's! I hope you find your swing coat soon - no doubt Miss S will find you something very lovely.

I have no idea what size it is - the seller said medium to large but as the shoulders should fit me I'm going to buy it but if I do ever get tired of it I will be sure to let you know!
Aw - thanks Miss Sofia! And congratulations on your new jacket - it sounds divine - do post a picture when you get a chance - I'd love to see it!
Yes, the marks are only on the lining which is very fortunate and apart from that the coat is in incredible condition so I've decided to go for...
Dita Von Teese has always reminded me of Barbara Stanwyck - particularly her mouth, nose and chin:
Also Dita moves her mouth the same way Barbara does when they speak - in a way both ladies faces don't move a whole lot when they talk (probably why they both are ageing/aged very well).
Ona Munson (her best known role was probably as Belle Watling in Gone with the Wind) was rumoured to be gay however was married three times. She sadly committed suicide at the age of 55.
