A Few More
This one was my first choice, but my older brother got it. I'm glad he did, though, because I got the Crystal Mountain Line Baldwin pictured in the first post.
You'll see another of these later (#1). I like the pushrods, universal joints and drive shafts. The red you see is...
Not on my keychain, but they were my fathers.
Isn't this Atlas key great? I love the embossed image. My father made the keychain, including tumbling (polishing) the stone.
More fantastic embossing! It's a shame they don't make keys this beautiful anymore.

Family was over today, and we went through our father's H.O. scale trains and brass engines. After it was all over, I realized I hadn't chosen any unpainted brass engines, but I'm very happy with the three that I chose.
This one was my first choice, because "Crystal Mountain Line" or "CML"...
Of my two late cats, John Doe and Jane Doe, Jane loved playing with toilet paper. I couldn't keep it out, because she'd shred the entire roll if I was away. She also knew how to open the cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen, so even though I kept the poper in one, it still was not safe. Safer...
The tie tack arrived safe and sound yesterday. I would have noted it last night when I got home, but there were three packages bundled together, and the tack was the middle one. The outer ones were both addressed to my brother, so I thought all three were his. lol
On an odd coincidence, most...
For years, along with candy, my parents have been giving out pencils at Hallowe'en. One year, my mother forgot to buy any and had a lot of trick-or-treaters asking about them. :)
Little do they know, it's also how she counts how many trick-or-treaters we get. She often hands out up to one...
Why do I see myself as part of an advertisement on the back cover? You know, the "before" picture. lol

I'm not into cat fur in my mouth, so I don't blow razberries on the guy's tummy, but I do reach down and give him a good, strong tummy skritching. He loves that, and will sometimes stretch a far as he can and then pull his paws in tight over his eyes. When he does that, I try to get my hand in...
Nor does my 'Tilla have any shame, shebagrl. He also sleeps a life of danger, as he often rolls off the bed in his sleep. (Who would have guessed? lol) Note how his tail doubles as an anchor . . . sort of.

Off (but related) Topic.
After a lot of thinking (aproximately thirteen seconds), I decided I could highjack my own thread for a moment and show a bookmark. :D
A friend made this about fifteen years ago, and gave it to me. It's not real, but he worked for hours to get the color exact. He...
Maybe "Map Room" would be more appropriate?
I did some digging through my desk and found this:
I don't know the vintage, but I think the pictures explain it.
Inch to statute miles, kilometers or nautical miles.
Inches to miles, centimeters to kilometers.
The Thomas Guide is from...
Limousines
I would start an executive limousine company. I would have contracts with high-end hotels and large corporations. My drivers would be the best available, with extensive training in defensive driving and security. They would be courteous and helpful, impeccably dressed and groomed...
The graphics on mug B are too plain for me. It's not that I don't like them, but I agree with Josephine in that raising the lettering to the diamond points would make it look better.
I chose mug A. I like the decorative, more balanced graphics.
