Slacker - congratulations. I've got a one month old new addition. Hard to find fedoras for him. Don't worry though, my two and 1/2 year old is getting into all the fedoras I bought when he was born in a big way. He's even got two deadstock Stratoliners. It'll come! Frank. -

Feet Up! The Work Boot Thread
Lots of work/riding bookmakers pre-cut the lace slits mentioned above in the tongue. Over time, where you run the laces through becomes the shape of a tube, or loop. Very effective. Seen on Justin's, Chippewas, etc...- frussell

I agree that spurs are not always a necessity, but most of the working cowboys I have known (I'm talking about horsemen, not the guys who work cattle on four-wheelers) have spurs on a good deal of the time.
