    I think the pleats in this style is necessary for the bi-swing. But I don't like it either, thats is why I prefer the Westfall than this one. I think these two looks almost identical from the front.

    For A2 jacket, I would go for Aero Leather or Bill Kelso House A2 in your price range. I personally dont like most cheap US Made repro because their pattern is boxy. Leather quality, there is no way to answer it because this is really depends on what kind of leather you want.

    There are many repro A2 comes with dark seal leather and reddish knits. But, I am wondering is this a true design in history? I cant remember any original A2 comes with such design. If this is a true design in history, is this a particular contract or it is a general design?

    Sounds an interesting test. Remember to find people with no knowledge of A2 at all. I think the experienced people (like Andrew) may distinguish this easily.
