Schott Perfecto 613 / 618 Back Length

Mulling over the possibility of picking up a used Perfecto in the 618 or 613 style, but in the two sizes that would fit me, they're coming up at 24" back length, which sounds awfully short... I have an Aero Thirties Halfbelt in a 42, which is totally standard (from memory, 25"). The Aero is bang on, lengthwise, for me, and I'm definitely not one for wearing a low-waisted trouser, but these Schotts just sound awfully short?

24" sounds like you are looking at a size 44,46?
But anyway, yes, it is a short jacket.

Funny thing is, I asked my friends who owns many schott in different size, he told me that the length of size 36 and 44 is about same, both around 24".
But 618HH is bit longer, which is 24.5" in size 36

Edward, not long ago I sold 618HH in size 42 which I bought some time in 2012, and the back length of the jacket - from collar seam to bottom - was exactly 63 cm or 25 inch. I was in the process of ordering Aero at the time, so I measured the 618 a number of times so to make sure to get the perfect back length on Aero. Keep in mind that the bottom back of 618 is slightly curved so the jacket's actually half an inch or so shorter at the sides and front.

zhz is right; from the pattern charts of 618, sizes from 38 to 46 are all 25" in length.

Schott Perfecto's are short. They make long versions but not all models. Model number ends with a "L".

I typically like the "L" or "T" sizes myself.

Belated thanks, folks - I just turned this thread up on a Google search (ironically, for an answer to the question of the back length of my jacket). I did indeed buy a used Schott 618 last Summer; very pleased.

Does anybody know the waist measurement on the 618's? Can't seem to dig it up anywhere, even found an email Gail at Schott had sent to a customer who inquired. Their actual size chart doesn't even include the waist measurement. Trying to determine waist size on a size 42 618HH.

I think Schott recently added an inch of length to their 118? if I remember reading correctly on one of their forums. May apply to more than that model so a used one from years back may run shorter. No clue about the HH.

I was just looking at their site today and yes the 118 comes in Long length, which the description says adds 2" to the back length and 1" to the sleeves of the Regular length 118.

I was looking at the 613 since I dislike the extra snaps on the collar and back for the fur collar, but sadly the 613 measurements which I posted above appear too short for my 6'1" height.
