I really like these, they are too cute, but they are too short. Has anyone seen anything similar...

The Lakewood Theatre has hosted several events, they show White Christmas every December, and used to play a classic movie once a month (they need to start again!) we have dressed up for that. Also went to a hangar dance at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison.
Have you been to the Balcony...
Excellent! Thank you very much, they do have great stuff!
Was recently complaining that a lot of the vintage stores in the Dallas area are really more costume than vintage (with mostly 60's to 80's!?!)
YAY! :eusa_clap
I don't have a lot of vintage clothing, I'm working on it. I'd wear it all the time if I had it!
I do find special occassions to wear the few dresses that I own, here's a few websites to check out, there are people here in Texas! you just gotta look for them! ;)...
I've worn them before, but I have big hair. I've seen people with short or straight hair use a hair piece to fill up the snood, then just pin it on, it works pretty good, a lot better than a limp empty snood:D .
This site has a few items, record players, radios, stuff like that. Great stuff, not too expensive.

Occassionally, and I do mean occassionally Forever XXI will have vintage styled dresses, the fabric is questionable, but when it comes to inexpensive... under $40 and sometimes under $30.

I bought my boyfriend a straw Pork Pie for our year anniversary, his friend called it a "insert expletive here" hat  Sometimes you just have to sigh. I guess there are a few people out there that never matured past the third grade.
I used to have a pair of jodhpurs, I loved them they were so comfortable! I miss them. I think they were military not sure, they were brown and had buttons down the calf.
I say wear whatever you want to! I see people wearing pants 5 times too big for them with their underpants hanging...
Target? Really? I will have to check that out.
Occassionally a store called Forever XXI will have dresses that will pass, it is mostly trendy "teeny-bopper" crap, but there are a few, and under $40.
Bogart Marathon this weekend 8-5-06
The Third Man was on TMC again we had our DVR set to record it, which it did, except for the last 8 minutes, right when Orsen Wells has his finger through the grate! I had never seen it before so, now I am very frustrated and need to get to the video store to...
Yeah. Me too. It is humid here!
back to the subject...I wonder if a barber could help, when I used to cut hair I would also trim beards and mustaches, but using clippers, not a razor (yikes!)
My boyfriend is also working on his mustache...it must be that time of year.
