They are great little pistols and very accurate. I have to qualify with mine annually on a 50 round course all the way out to 25 yards including six rounds fired from the prone at 25 yards. It is a great pocket pistol for the summer months. I have also picked up the LC9 and that is a nice little...

Warner Brothers : "Tales from the Gangster Squad"

Yeah, you are right, but with some good make up maybe. I just can not see Sean Penn doing it. I do like Rats Riley's suggestion of Paul Giamatti too. Kirk H.

Warner Brothers : "Tales from the Gangster Squad"

I agree with you. But just thinking about the movie and who could play Mickey I keep thinking of Bob Hoskins. He has the height 5'5" and has played tough gangsters before such as Owney Madden in the Cotton Club. Just a wild thought. Kirk H.

"The Cotton Club" (1984): most authentic 1920s-'30s costuming

"The film also featured Bob Hoskins (Owney Madden), Fred Gwynne (Frenchy DeMange), and a still unknown Lawrence Fishbourne" Fishborne played "Bumpy Rhodes" based on Bumpy Johnson and he played the same character again in the 1997 film Hoodlum. The Cotton Club is a great movie. I just...

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Brother Orchid (1940), a gangster film staring Edward G. Robinson and Humphrey Bogart, but Robison plays a gangster who sees the light so to speak. A very good movie. Kirk H.

I think it would depend on when it was made. I have several from the 1960's and 1970's that handle +P well. I would not use +P in the older airweights like the model 12 or the pre model 10's. Kirk H.

Dave, it is funny that you mention that. I have a model 10 with a pencil barrel that balances great. I was talking with a friend the other day about Smith's Classic line. They have a model 10 with a round butt and bull barrel. We were both saying that Smith should have offered that one with the...

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Great movie! It is one of my all time favorite film noir movies. I have enjoyed both the theatrical release as well as the pre release. Bogie and Bacall had great chemistry.
