    I love the Fed IV!!

Oldsarge, I too have a long oval and I ordered a size 59. After wearing it for a few days it conformed to my head shape just fine. The people at Hatsdirect told me that they run a little small so the 59 is more like a 58.5. Hope this helps.

    Akubras for a Steal

Thought I would pass on another source for Akubra Adventurer hats. I got one a couple of weeks ago from a store called the Cultered Cowboy in Greenwood SC. Their price is 114.99. These are the ones that are not the snap brim that DM is selling for 98.00. So if you live in the upstate of SC or...

    Hats on TV

I too liked that show and hate that it got axed after only two seasons. One of the reasons I heard that it got cut was the cost in filming it. It is such a shame. And now the actor who played Wolfe passed away several months ago. The clothes, cars, sets, and the chemistry between the actors made...

    Modern Male Identity Crisis

I prefer “Permanent Rehabilitation”. Or if the shooter is himself a dirtbag, high percentage of them are, there is always Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon charge.

    Modern Male Identity Crisis

Not to sound like a smart &%%, but aggravated assault as defined in the UCR Program specifies that this type of assault is usually accompanied by the use of a weapon or by other means likely to produce death or great bodily harm. That is where you get charges such as ADWISI (Assault with a...

    I love the Fed IV!!

I want to say thanks to B.J. Hedberg and mOnk for the advice on the spray bottle. My Fed IV in Tawny arived yesterday and I used that technique to put in a C-crown with a tight pinch. This is my second Akubra. I have the Adventurer which I had the brim trimmed down and used steam from a tea...

    Modern Male Identity Crisis

That would fall under Aggravated Assaults in the FBI UCR.

    songs that make you shiver/cry

The song that always gets me choked up and teary eyed is Amazing Grace on the bag pipes. I have heard it way too many times at fellow Officers funerals. http://youtu.be/nhGuhfBk5xk Regards Kirk H.

    Modern Male Identity Crisis

So true. The good thing is that under NC DV laws if we have Probable Cause that a domestic assault has occurred that we are required to make an arrest regardless if the victim does not wish to prosecute. We clearly explain that to the arrestee and tell them if they have a problem and are upset...
