True, you do have a valid arguement.
I'm still not entirely sure, though. The film has always eluded me to a specific time because there is no solid evidence of any particular importance. The orpan Annie etc. could have been modified to fit the story during another time.
It's not really of...
I thought perhaps my lack of any smileys would be taken as a serious gesture, but I'm glad someone was able to figure my sarcasm out :p Nice job BK.
I was wondering how long it would take all of you to see that date :P
Oh no, from the single picture I can tell you it is signifigantly later than '54. 80's, possibly even 90's. You can tell right off the bat from the box-like chest and waist.
It may sound strange, but I find that 1980's military-issue boots make a nice alternative.
Here are some examples from the eBay seller mrhaney4, who frequently sells them among other boots.
Maybe I'm just crazy.
Very reminiscent of the "vintage work boots" I find on eBay all the time. They definitley remind me of the boots my father used to wear as a carpenter. although I don't think I would go so far as to try them. I like a more clean-cut, military look. The Road to Perdition and Indy boots come to mind.
