BTW, you're off to a great start all I would add to your plans would be some wall treatment like wallpaper, moldings and such.
If I were to start a wardrobe from scratch this might be the first odd jacket chosen. Of course a blue blazer should be first but I've no problem wearing the jacket of a solid navy blue suit (1st suit to start a wardrobe) in lieu of a blazer.
That's one of the best fitting jacket I've seen posted on the FLounge. I cringe at most of the fits coming from these 'custom' makers. Though to be fair to the makers, remote fitting borders on folly.
In warmer climes that might not be such a bad thing. I have a one button SB with a low button stance in linen and it is a bit cooler, though you'll need to clip down your tie as it has a tendency to pop out of the jacket when buttoned.
