MY FATHER'S HAT
My Dad bought this Coober Pedy in 1994 and I got it when he went west a year later. It's 59cm and I wear a 60 so it lives in my closet most of the time. I do wear it in the winter when I can. I just got a stretcher so I hope to wear it more often.
Soviet Army Surplus
I got this about ten years ago from Sportsman's Guide. I replaced the Soviet Army badge with the Imperial Romanov badge. It's 60cm, acrylic, and as hot as an oven even at -20
degrees. Yes, the Russians know about winter hats!

The Zombie is a cocktail made of fruit juices, liqueurs, and various rums, so named for its perceived effects upon the drinker. It first appeared in the late 1930s, invented by Donn Beach (formerly Ernest Raymond Beaumont-Gannt) of Hollywood's Don the Beachcomber...

My New Portis Supreme.
Christmas came early today. I got my new hat from Feltfan in the mail, and I could not be happier with it or him. He is a great pleasure to deal with and a true "Mensch". He already posted some great pics of the hat, so I'll direct you here...

Good luck and...
Spell Check
The Spelling is everything. In old recipe books if it's spelled

Irish, Canadian, Bourbon, Rye, or Sour Mash are perfectly acceptable. However, they each will impart a different taste to the final product.
Back in 1975 I had the honor of working with Master Sgt. Bill Fleming. He was 75, and picking up a little work to keep busy. He joined the Army in 1918 and went to Europe in the AEF. (American Expeditionary Forces) Was wounded at Chateau Thierry, and received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart...
I was wearing my Panama Bob Cuenca yesterday at the Supermarket, and a Woman half my age chatted me up and gave me her number. She said she loved the HAT!
Whatever you did contributed to the finest film making ever on TV. If I could buy you a few pints, I'd bore you to tears with questions about the shoot. I know quite a few reenactors here who will hate me when I tell them I "know"
one of the crew. If you ever come to Cleveland we'll never let...
