Check Out Aero USA's New Prices!

Just have to hope for the dollar to make a huge gain on the british pound! I was on the fence about buying an aero for nearly a year and pulled the trigger when the dollar hit a long time high against the pound last year.

    Aviator Glasses Decision

The American Optical glasses that MrBern linked to are very high quality glasses. I own some and I love them. The Randolph Aviators that Hemmingway Jones are also equally nice. You'll notice they look exactly the same because they both fulfill the same government contract. AO and Randolph...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

I got my Chippewa 27899 last Friday. I wore them to a hockey game Friday night and then wore them all weekend. They are very solid and will need some serious breaking in! I don't want to keep them pristine looking. In fact I can't wait until they get some character. I hate brand new...

Art Fawcett VS Hall of Fame

I also feel a ribbon treatment is a bit dressier. However, because you already have a ribbon edge I say go for a welt just to have some variation.

Art Fawcett VS Hall of Fame

I don't have a photo, but this is when the edge is turned over on itself (either over or under) and sewed down. Especially on a darker felt, like black, you won't see the stitches and it will look very similar to a Cavanaugh edge.

Art Fawcett VS Hall of Fame

Don't hold that against him - no one does anymore. He does do a mighty fine over or under welt.

Art Fawcett VS Hall of Fame

I 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th this advice. Art has an amazing eye for proportion. It's truly a 6th sense.

    30's~40's Work Boots

Are the optional "heal loops" considered "proper" for 30s/40s? I don't really care, but I like them a lot and plan to get them when I buy some Whites. I was just curious.

    30's~40's Work Boots

I've got some Ecco shoes but I don't have Alden or Whites. My guess though is that something like the White boots will be heavier. Eccos are rediculously light. However, if you take careful measurements and get some Aldens or Whites that are your exact size I bet they will be more...
