I just checked my wardrobe...I got A2s, HBs with cotton liner, few denim jackets, 3 M65s with liner, one Diesel down jacket and a uniqlo peacoat that I don't want to wear... seems like I have very good excuse to make some new purchase...
It suddenly getting really cold in UK. I am wearing a M65 with liner and a medium weight sweater, but still feel a bit cold...just wonder what you guys wear now? Or, how do you guys wear leather jacket in the winter?
I think the 1000mile is more casual, and IR is more work boot like. It really depends what you want. But I would go for IR because I just like the look.
I own both Aero, BK, ELC, fairly speaking, they are equally good. But my favorite jacket is BK Westfall. Why? Aero is too heavy for me, ELC doesn't fit me well since you can't customise it. Speaking of customer service, Aero and BK are very good. Never speak to ELC so can't say anything about...
I tried the talc power used after shower on one sleeve, it works...but I am really worried it will dry or shag (please refer to the original meaning of shag) the leather. So I tried to apply the leather conditioner to the stitches, it works well so far. Don't know how it goes overnight.
Update, I tried the Saphir cream, instead of apply to whole jacket, I only applied it to the stitches, so far, it works great, no sound at all. I will see how it goes overnight.
OK, I must say, the talcum power is magic...I tried it on one sleeve (talcum power bought from Tesco)...and the noise is gone...but the real question now is, can I use the talcum power that normally used after shower? That thing will absorb water etc, does it gonna dry the leather??
