WWII Reenacting Discussion Thread
Maybe they are so absorbed by the idea of the war and what it must have been like that they want to in some way capture for themselves the sheer massiveness of it all. How absolutley significant the entire endeavor was. I'm not a reenactor but these are some of the things that make me think... -
Just won this suit
Well, I was looking for a '50's suit so I guess I have a lot to learn. On the other hand, for $40 shipped I didn't hurt myself too bad. I just hope it's in decent enough shape to use. Thanks for everyone's input! -

If the truth is told I don't care who is saying it. The best documentary of WWII in my opinion is "World at War". As far as when WWII started, I would make the case that it started right after WWI. One has to wonder if Hitler would have been able to sway anyone in Germany if the US, France... -

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?
Watched Mulholland Dr. again this morning. Woke up around 3:30 for a bit (or so I thought) and found it on amovie channel. Love this movie although it has a less than happy ending. Of course that's one of the reasons I like it.- BigFitz
