I went to go see Vantage Point with a friend last night. I was wearing a white shirt and brown tie, khakis and brown oxfords - with my Akubra. As we were walking into the theater, the ticket holder sees me from a distance and says "Hey man, we got Indiana Jones comin' up..!". I gave him a cocked...
We have some very pretty girls around here.
This morning I saw a high-school age girl wearing a black dress with nice shoes. It really got me to thinking...I wish more women would dress like that these days.
Actually, BK quite often displays his love for 70's items, and he's got quite a collection of really cool clothes from the era. I wouldn't doubt that it was a 70's tie if it came from him, but obviously he told you it was 40's so it is such.
I should try putting a flower in my 40's suit. It would probably look good.
I've got a big flower plant in my yard (I can't remember what kind), but it only blooms at certain times.
As you all know, my dearly beloved Akubra has been everywhere with me. It's been crumpled, rolled, even ran over by a car. At this point it has literally no stiffener anywhere within it.
When I first got it, it was very stiff - and since this was going to be my everything hat, this would not...
I asked the seller for an open crown measurement and he said 5 1/2 in. After that measurement, I realized this was my ideal hat.
I was surprised it didn't put up more of a fight...
By the sound of it, a customized Stratoliner.
