I've never met a single-malt I didn't like...the opposite is almost true with blends...unless youre mixing....
Johnnie Walker's Green label is the only JW I really like...but its a blend of all Single-malts...But too expensive...
If the bread factor dictates a blend...Teachers Highland Cream...
I'm walking through a dept. store one day...saw one of those Sinatra looking Black Cotton hats...bought it, and bought a can of water-proofing from the shoe store next-door...Its raining like crazy...so I sprayed the whole can on the hat...It worked great...I stayed dry...and got like constant...
Thats funny...Me too....I bought it 6 months ago and it wouldn't play....I just got a chance to take it back and get another copy....Just finished watching it finally....I can see why Cubby Broccoli wanted Sean Connery to watch this before they started filming Dr. No...I read somewhere where he...
I'm new here and didn't know Carl before...But I've been following this...There is sure a lot of love shared here at the Lounge....I haven't met Carl before. but I've been sick before and I know how great it feels to receive love and positive support...I'd like to welcome Carl home and back to...

Thanks, thats a great article...And after reading the other article about his western hat..Looks like he would have fit right in around here if he had had the chance...in fact...I think he is alive and well around here...This place has such a...
Congrats on the new hat...Glad that whatever caused that hole in the box didn't put a hole in your hat...I know you must have set a land speed record opening that up...lol...
Pics please...
I'll have to agree with Sir Sean Connery when he said, "Scotch, straight up, any Single Malt will do..."
I like all the regions...Due to wallet restraints these days, I'm perfectly happy with Glenlivet 12....Seems just by being a Single-Malt, a Whisky becomes very Special...I haven't met one...
Very hip look...with the single action Colt and the trench coat, vest and Thin ribbon....too cool for school...;)
And I'd bet a months pay, in all of the films with Jimmy Stewart wearing thin ribbons it's the same hat...I read an interview with him once;I can't find it to post....But he said...
If you dig Bird, Miles and Trane....then you're going to have to extend your sphere of Jazz listening pleasure to include the '50's aswell....:)'45 was just when Bird and Dizzy were taking off....and 'Film Noir' was current films,...and of course every (well-dressed) man wore a fedora...:) Yeah...
This goes out to 'jbucklin' & Josh...or any one else aswell....
Who are your favorites out of the cats playing that Django Style Now...I know there's alot of great players...I know a guy in St Pete Florida named Larry Camp who has his own take on it...I really like what he's doing...and I saw...

Hey guys....we should start a Jazz thread....I'm a trumpet player, but I took some lessons with Joe Pass...;)
He opened the door for me on playing over II V's in a minor key....I was a kid and that Harmonic minor stuff JP showed me really freed me up...:)
