I've heard of this film and am very excited to see it. Renee Z. is suppose to be portraying Beatrix Potter. Supposedly, Beatrix didn't like children. I've heard of so many famous children's writers not liking children. How crazy, eh?
Ladies, you've inspired me to give the reverse rolls a try. Wish me luck! I'm going in! I'll post pictures tomorrow if I can get anything half decent out of it.
Ditto what Lady Day said--ForthWorth Gal, that is a tremendous dress! You look like you stepped out of a time machine.
And what deals! Much better than anything on eBay!
"Calling All Girls"--What a fabulous name for a magazine! I've never heard of it before. Is it like a vintage Seventeen Magazine? Or MaCalls?
Please post pictures when you have a chance--it would be lovely to see them!
I have that same problem too. I remember reading an article that the Queen of Englad has her slips weighted.

And I love your poses! The...
Oh Lizzie, I'm so sorry to hear the news. But I'm sure it will be just moments before you find yourself in the green with a better writing gig.

I just find it too hot for the Northern California weather, but boy is it pretty!
I just found the same one through www.adressaday.com.
It is hard to find larger size patterns. Evadress.com has some. But also with a bit of practice you can change some of the patterns to size up an a couple of inches.
My biggest superstion is never putting my purse on the ground--all of your money/fortune will "leak out". Completely adopted from my mother, so it's more of an homage to her.
