I forgot to mention - there is a great militaria shop in Southsea, Portsmouth. They sell loads of WWII British forces uniform (if you were interested in having a nose?) but alas for me as they don't sell WLA, only hire it out. :(
Tell us more about your WWII reenactment!
I would say Camden Market in London, but most of the vintage stuff there *is* american! LOL
Try the Lanes in Brighton if you are down the south of England, as I have picked up a few good bits and pieces there.
There is a shop in Portsmouth and Chichester called the 'One Legged Jockey' they...
They are cut for vintage hips - I do think you should of got a smaller size. I am starting to think I should have stuck with the 30 inch cincher when I got it, but I struggled to do it up - I didn't realise at the time that you are suppose to struggle :(
I guess the vollers corset I had 'temporarily' really wasn't suited to me as it didn't reduce my hips at all.
Miss Sis you have an incredibly small waist - I am envious! My under bust and waist are the same measurement - which is bizarre!

If anyone wants a 32 inch waist cincher for FREE -...
Do you mean you get the bulge over the top? I do too with my waist cincher. I think maybe because we are tall and have longer torsos, as when I saw Bernie Dexter advertising it, it went all the way up to her bra - but then she is so very tiny!
Ha ha ha - Oh dear, I am going to be a real awkward annie now! LOL I just re-measured my waist (a little higher up this time) and it came out as a 31 comfortable and a 30 if I held it tight! But then I don't even know if I am measuring my waist now - I seem to have a bit of a length from my...
I just PM'd you!! I read that if you have more than a 10 inch difference then you should you up the next waist size. I feel like a bit of an odd size, if I get a 32 then will it be baggy on my 41 hip?
Ok one last question about the underbust girdle and I WILL shut up about it lol.
Can I ask what your hip size is? It does say that the girdle is larger in the hip and more suited to a vintage figure.
