I like the waves. I hat will never be symmetrical and smooth once it gets some decent head action and aging anyway. BTW, I've found that dryness can kill a Panama a lot faster than humidity or soaking. Wet paja can be revived but if it gets too dry it just breaks.
Well, cork is not known for it's permeability, exactly the opposite actually, so probably not very good for a summer lid?
On a positive note, no trees were killed in the making of this hat.

We are expected to deal with paja that has not been properly aged, much like growing up without a grandparent. Just be sure to dial 911 after you get caught in a thunderstorm under your Panama.
