Funny that you bring this up...This is actually something that I plan on attempting one day soon. Now I really want to see that movie! I bake and decorate cakes as a hobby and for a little extra money. I have done some sculpting with cakes and also sometimes cover the cakes with fondant...
So, ya'll are talking about blondes becoming redheads... thought I would post a couple of pics taken when I decided to go "red"! It only lasted about 10 weeks though, my hubby did not care for it AT ALL....[huh]
First off, here is a goofy pic of me as I normally look... blonde...
Funny you say that, I just discovered a couple of days ago that I can shape my vintage Borso into a pork pie! Now THAT is a very soft hat that doesn't want to hold much shape, but it does hold the pork pie and looks really neat that way!!:D
A New Hat!
I posted this over in Hats but thought I would post here too! Broadening my horizons!lol I won this on Ebay and got it yesterday. All I know is that it is from the 1940's. It was designed by Frank Olive New York and named "Frank's Girl". I really like it!
Thanks Everyone for your kind comments!:)
VB, I have no idea what year the hat was made, just that it was listed as being a 1940's hat in the auction description...?
Barb, it is wool...
