    To me it looks like the Russo-Japanese War 1904-1905. The foot solider looks like Japanesse infantry of the period. Not very Germanic. Most Russian WWI items I've seen have the Germans in pickalhaubes. The Calvary looks like a Cossack.

    While being an extra may sound exciting it is really alot of work. I did it for a week for "Gettysburg". Used my own stuff (Ruined a pair of pants). Ran into some good people but a lot of @#$%& wantabe stars. Glad I did it but never again!

    Not entirely vintage, but pretty cool - and for little more than $20.

    They are almost identical to the US WWII overcoat. Same color and cut. The fabric is slightly rougher and the 1/2 belt in the back is slightly different.
