A good review. This is my favorite so far, but be warned - it's the commentary from an online comic (largely about videogames), famous for things that would violate the standards of good taste here - and also tends to the sarcastic. The review is generally positive, but less serious, and more...
Hmm, I'll have to disagree. While I do agree that these type of comments can be frustrating - and I do support the classic look - as it's not common, it seems a more logical guess than many others.
Here, I agree whole-heartedly.
I just stayed at home, but having moved recently from an area that has a firework ban, into unincorporated county area (where they are legal), it was quite a site last night. Plenty of neighbors setting off big stuff, and a nice view of across the local valley, were you could see perhaps 15-20...
I've been eyeballing them, especially the efforts to crack the sim card restrictions, as I'm not a big fan of AT&T.
Still, the phone is perhaps the least interesting part for me. A usable web browser in my pocket is the most interesting aspect. Too pricey, tho', for something I don't really...
The last couple of times I've flown, there's been room in the overheads to place it. I generally always check to make sure it won't be squished by, say, luggage that looks likely to slide, or by folks getting into their bags. If that looks like it may be the case, I plan to just wear it...
Well, in all honesty, it certainly was a factor in getting me to start wearing hats. I'm thinning up to towards the aft, and it's gotten pretty sparse back there. I often forget, because from the front my hair looks fine.
I certainly am not in love with my bald spot, so the idea of a hat was...
Well, since I became diabetic, I've been much more self-limiting about binging on food (to the benefit of my waistline).
I've always liked dark chocolate, and now the darker, the less carbs it has. I go for 70% and up, but it does get too bitter fairly quickly.
I've also always liked the...
My SCA motto is a variant on some posted previously -
Chi fa falla, e chi non fa sfarfalla.
Those who act make mistakes; and those who do nothing really blunder.
Some of these seem to cross over from a motto into a quote, of which I have a few for my email signatures.
I'm pretty bad about cleaning myself.
But, in a general sense, I do hear one can help cut down on how fast the dust accumulates by making sure you keep your heating/ac systems filters clean (and using good filters).
Huh. I sometimes have to make copies, run a binding machine, and answer the phones. Mind you, my title is "Technology Manager", and when I'm not snooping on peoples hard drives for pay, I'm likely to be fixing the copier, troubleshooting the binding machine, and upgrading the phones…
I don't think I'd claim to be an expert on anything either.
I have a good knowledge of computers - specifically digital pre-press software, digital forensics, and software quality assurance processes.
I have an interest in military history - esp. WWII, Napoleonic, and Napoleonic Naval...
Ah yes, can be annoying - thank goodness for the "disable smilies in text" checkbox to get around it.
Of course, then if you want to actually use a smiley, you are stuck with the old school ASCII versions - ;-P
Well, by any account, I'm a mutt.
When I asked my parents (waaaaay back in Jr. High, for a class project), they said - English, Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Dutch, Russian, German, Japanese, Aleutian Indian.
Now that they are no longer around to ask, I've been digging. I've been able to trace...
