In the 2nd pic of the Cree man 1915 - He looks like he is wearing a Hudsons bay blanket, which i suppose is possible as they where traded for Beaver pelts.

Having only ever had an Akubra Stylemaster before - it is quite a revelation moulding it into different shapes.

I was lucky to come across a 100 recently for a decent sum.
Having only had an Akubra before it was a bit of a revelation.
The hat itself had a mild centre dent when it arrived and does not seem to have been worn much or have a memory of a previous bash.
Never having bashed a hat before...
My first "proper" hat - Stetson 100.
It's great to play with as i have never experienced a hat that you can mould to different styles/ shapes - it's a lot of fun.
