here are my two new hats. An Optimo Milan Straw Teardrop Fedora and a Stetson Benchley in beaver fur felt. Brim on the Optimo is 2.5" where the Stetson is 2". Crown is a little taller on the Optimo. Liking both hats but think the Optimo might be a better shape for me. Opinions welcome.

It's the first Akubra that I've found. I know that they have been around a while, so is this enough info to narrow down that age? The crown is a bit low and the brim a bit wide for my tastes, but I'm sure a little re-shape and a nice roll on the brim will fix that.

Just got this 1930s Dobbs Leisure Light in the mail today.





I've been looking for a hat like this for a long time.

New hat for me... and I'm rather new to the Lounge, but am glad to be here. I went to Covington, TN this past Saturday to pick up a hat that Mike Moore @ Buckeroo Hatters made for me... I have a fat head so I opted for a 3 3/4 brim, 100% Beaver, fedora style... I LOVE it... this thing will outlast me...

A beautiful hat... I don 't know enough about hats to provide any more detail other than it looks awesome!!!
