What about color?
What are some thoughts on casual colors? Particularly grays. It seems to me that the color has a lot to do with the casualness of a hat, and I can't decide if gray feels formal or casual.
K'ville

Welcome
Welcome, prof. Before I went into my current field, I taught college English.
I don't think I ever officially introduced myself to the group, other than to say that I was new and had gotten into hats about six months ago.

I want a gray hat, probably lighter shade. Teardrop crown. Probably a 2 1/4" brim, maybe 2 1/2". I'm looking to spend under $100, but I might be willing to go over that.
Suggestions?

Indiana Jones
And this one is an Indiana Jones. A good everyday hat.
