Summer comes fast in Florida and Zits come fast on my cheeks.. :(
I'm currently suffering some Cystic acne, yuck. Any solutions? I've tried Murad, Proactive, retin-a, Obaji (SP?), Natural stuff, birth control (which made it worse).... basically everything... I don't want to do the accutane...
So I've found another perfume that is very classic smelling... but I don't think is vintage. Dior's Cherie is absolutely beautiful soft, sweet and I feel so pretty when I spray some on... Have any of you other girls tried it?
I'm a pear also. I think the only thing that looks bad is anything pegged looking.. (Anything that gets slimmer towards the ankles) because the silhouette is going to draw attention to your hips/bum. High waisted and wide legged things work best with bigger bottom halves.
Just be glad that...
I really am interested in buying some... but I need to know if it leaves any product build-up. I'm an Aveda stylist and we have some of the best mostly natural products out there. I've used damage and dry remedy and rotated it but it never seem to do enough. I have thick semi-coarse hair that's...
I always use Ruby Woo but there was one shade made by Sugar Baby.. and Aussie company. It was called "True Blue" and it is my favorite... I don't know if they discontinued it but I can't find it on their site and I haven't gone to ulta to see if they still have it there.
Please ignore the...
Thanks! I'll check them out! .. I guess I'll have to wait to buy these dvds though, money is tight because I have two trips coming up. Has anyone come across free videos that i can watch in the meantime? Or even a dance step chart?

Saldly we have only one swing club that I know of called Swing Affair...and they just so happen to be on days I have school.. I have school till 8pm and their lessons start at 6.. :(
Either way I'd prefer something private untill I feel like I can go out in a group.. I'm terribly shy..
I don't know if anyone has posted something similar to this, but I really have not come across it. I'm always in search for video tutorials or lessons on popular 1940s-1950s dances. I've found many variations but never a clear video lesson on the basic 1950s stroll or Jive. I guess what I want...
Thank you for this Mr.H. But i was searching more for an actual cutting guide not a styling guide. I need it to be pretty legit... It's for a project. I've cut many but I'm going more by eye than anything and I doubt it's the right way.
I usually cut the sides shorter than the top, scissor...
I've searched endlessly... and sadly Rockabilly music in South Florida doesn't really exist. The guys I see at shows have long hair that's just slicked back, not pompadours.
I hope this is the right part of the forum to post this:
I am in dire need for help right now! I need a legit diagram for a classic mens pompadour (it can be a modern one) If not.. I need step by step instructions for how to cut one. I usually freehand my boyfriends cut and fix where ever...
Ohh the 2nd dress (but in a full skirt) was my New Years dress last year! <3 It fits Beautifully! I wore it to the Mai Kai and had lots of (Tipsy) fun. It really is a party dress. Prepare to get plenty of compliments! <3
Yes, it wasn't gray gray.. but it was more of a darker gray on the last woman I did it on.. she was growing out her gray hair which was about 80%.. I had to color cleanse it.. and got it to a pale yellow color.. then I used a blue-gray toner and it came out like a darker gray. in a few months...
I love the grey hair look on women. I'm in cosmo school and I think its becoming the thing because I've had 3 women come in asking for grey hair.. one of them was under 30 too. The other two had either 50% to 80% grey and where tired of retouching it. I love making grey hair as much as I love...
My current Boyfriend is a Retro-boy... yet he's had a past of loving Oi so his punk rock rebellion tends to come out, out of the blue and he'll throw on some raggdy jeans and studded jean or leather vests, and shirts with the sleeves and necks torn off.. I find it all so charming either way...
Miserable with my primer!
I was recently convinced to buy the Lorac Aqua Primer. This primer is for acne prone skin and is silicone, paraben, and a whole lot of other stuff free. But it is really runny and takes forever to dry. I thought it would work but It never mad my skin any smoother and...
Revlon has some new-ish Matte Lip Sticks for under $10. Theres one red in particular.. I think its called really red... That I've happen to fall in love with. Their nude color is quite lovely as well!
