Beautiful shots, everyone!
Audrey, I missed the LA walk. :( Will there be abnother one soon? For some reason I'm particularly drawn to your last photo, the one of the grill. Maybe it's because I'm a nut for yellow metals, specifically brass and bronze. All of them are great!
ClaraB, I'd...
Hmm! I remember paying with one of these when I was a kid. I can't recall whose it was or how I'd gotten my hands on it, but I remember sliding the numbers up and down.

I wish I'd known of this event before it came around (October 9). I'll mark my calendar for next year.

Little Baggie went to her new home, today. She and her new human took to each other immediately and with great affection. She'll be missed in this household, but we know she'll have a great life filled with fun and love. :eusa_clap
Here are a couple pictures I took of her Tuesday night...
Some of my most recent photographic art: I went to the Moorpark, CA., Civil War Re-eneactment this past Saturday. A few photos below and a link to the gallery.

And a little something abstract that I did with the point-and-shoot:
Thank you for viewing,

I love cats who cover their eyes when they sleep. 'Tilla still does that, sometimes.
Here are a couple more of Baggie:
Baggie sleeps comfortably with her Uncle 'Tilla.
"Uncle 'Tilla? I'd like to get up now."
By the way, 'Tilla and Baggie are not related.

And ClaraB sets the bar high right at the start with a fantastic picture. Exactly the kind of image I was looking for! :eusa_clap
Now show us your favorite details, folks!

"Accumulate" is a more accurate term for what I do with coins. Whenever I find an interesting coin, I toss it in with other coins like it: foreign, vintage, public restroom tokens, etc. I have many, including some paper money.
I titled this photo, "World Traveler."

And getting cuter by the minute. We've found her a home. We're just weaning her, first. We have three orange tabby cats that prefer to remain outdoors. We call them our "Sea of Orange."
Napoleon and Peanut are adorable! Let me guess, Napoleon just washed his whiskers and can't do a thing...
This thread is for Loungers who love photographing (and viewing photos of) vintage architechture. But, there's a small twist: This thread is for photographs of only certain details of vintage buildings. Not the entire building.
Get in close, zoom in or crop in, to beautiful, unique...
Yes, she has a tuxedo pattern. Maybe we should have named her, Victor/Victoria. lol
We have an adult cat that is partially ferel - he stays near and accepts our food, but is shy of people. We've named him Tuxford.

Say hello to the newest tyke to enter the MNC household, Baggie. My brother found her in the bed of his truck when he came out of the market. She was in a plastic grocery bag (hence the name) that was, fortunately, left open and in the shade.
She's six weeks old and just getting to the point...
A trip along any portion of historic Route 66 will expose you two to many vintage tourist attractions. Ever stayed in a Wigwam Motel? (Not my post or photos.)

It's time to contact your local preservation society and start a grass-roots campaign to save this beautiful building. At the very least to have it turned into a museum.
