Miss Day! That is awesome!! ;)
BT. Great work!
Have you tried Curves (ctrl-M), yet? If you haven't, do. I use both Levels and Curves, using the former first and then tweaking a bit more with the latter, if necessary. You can be even more precise this way, because you're not limited if...
I had two tabby cats for fifteen years. I found them both in the yard, they wouldn't tell me their names or give me any other information, so I named them John Doe and Jane Doe.

Look into Taschen books. I have some. They cover everything from pin-ups to automobiles to advertising to tin toys to valentines to tiki to album covers to photography to signs to hot rods (on page 3 - I have that one!) to . . .
I've linked you to their Pop Culture - All Titles page. Use the...
Any camera store - REAL camera store - will send it out for proper development. When I bought the 1967 Hasselblad with a 120 film back last summer, I'd take the film (including a roll that was in the film back when I got it) to a store that's local to me (Powells) and they'd send it to a lab...
"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!!" I remember my mother saying that a lot. lol
I'll eat pretty much any kind of ice cream, and generally try to get something different each time I buy some. But as a kid my favorite was always Pistachio. Hagen Daz Rum Raisin, which is...
Thanks. C. K.!
I'll take credit where credit is due! :D ;)

Any camera store will carry film. I've purchased 120 roll film from a store near me as recently as last summer. They had color and black and white. I still patronize that store and know for a fact that they still carry film.

Those are very nice, Bob! Very unique! Beautiful!
On my way home fom my photoshoot with ShortClara, I happened upon the Jackson family and their family reunion/impromtu family car show on a side street. They were very gracious and allowed me to take a few shots (twenty-nine). Here are a few...
That is absolutely beautiful, Pink! Disgacing it with a TV would be a, well, disgrace! What a great find and at such a tremendous price! :eusa_clap

I don't mind at all, Bob. You're right, the image does look good in black and white. :)
I processed these three images mere hours after shooting them, and I hadn't yet reached the mental point of trying anything more creative than a standard processing - sharpening, curves, hue, etc...
Take Two!
Miss ShortClara and I spent another day with my camera. Before I show you the results, though, I want to thank her for another opportunity to work with her. I also got to meet her friend, Belinda, and I thank her for her natural - probably untapped, until today - ability to control...
I'm with you, QB! Those two are great! I also like the berries. Great shots, Belly Tank. :) Douglas, very interesting, unique music!
It's amazing what we can get with a digital point and shoot! A few of the pictures in my online gallery (see quote) were taken with a point and shoot. In...
That ranks right up there with when Jay Leno gave my brother and me a personal tour of his garage and collection!
Enjoy, MK! As was said before, give us details!

My parents met on a Friday the Thirteenth in 1954 and remained married until my father's passing in 2003 (married fourty-eight and a half years), my family has always had black cats, I carry A-frame ladders by going underneath and grabbing both sides and walking it to where I need it, I've...
I was going to say that the original color would be great and that you could apply the tan with a sponge.
I think the red and black looks great. But before you finish it, use a touch of wood putty on the rough spots and sand it smooth.
For a nail that's sticking out, remove it and then...
