Thanks. I know what you mean about a 3" revolver. I have a S&W Model 65 with a 3" barrel and it handles beautifully. The one I would really love to find one day would be a model 10 or Pre 10 with a 3" tapered barrel. I read that article on the Webly, looks interesting, but the 10,000 price tag...- Kirk H.

Thanks Robert, This one looks like it was shot very little and carried a lot. I also just found a spare Pachmayer grip adapter in my spare parts drawer. I will have to put that on. It also came with a vintage holster. Kirk- Kirk H.

No, I have not heard about that. Any photos or specs yet? I just saw a photo of the new Kimber Revolver. A six shot concealed hammer snubnose. It looks like a S&W 640 on a Ruger SP101 frame with a six shot cylinder in .357 Magnum.- Kirk H.

It is worth it to get the CCW. I carry Off-duty and qualify yearly with that pistol as well as my service pistol. I did get my CCW several years ago and it is so much easier to go into the store, select the handgun of choice, pull out the CCW permit and ID, fill out the paperwork and be done...- Kirk H.

It is the same here in NC if you have a CCW permit. In NC there are purchase permits which allow you to purchase one handgun per one permit. CCW permits which allows you to carry concealed in certain places as well purchase a handgun with it.- Kirk H.

AF, I wonder if it is different from county to county. When I renewed my CCW I did it in person, signed the consent form, presented my credentials and left. Looks good. I agree with what the others have said and advice offered. My first Fed IV took several attempts to get it just right for me. I have found the mister with distilled water worked best when I placed the hat on my head and used the mirror to put the pinch in during the rework phase. The... -
