Might I add, FRACTIONAL RESERVE BANKING and the private institution that started it! (Say no more!)
And, that monstrosity that resides in Turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan. (Saying no more!)

I would immediately have to agree with H_A_S, above!... cell fones and texting devices!!! What dehumanizing devices these have become. Perhaps I should throw in iPods as well and their precursor the 'WalkMan' for the same reason. I guess having said that, I'd have to include the "Boom Box"...
His name was Ole, he was from North Dakota ... And he needed a loan.
So... He walked into a bank in New York City and asked for the loan Officer.
He told the loan officer that he was going to Paris for an International
redneck festival for two weeks and needed to borrow $5,000 and that he...
I can't remember if I joined this illustrious group, but I'm not going through 283 pages to find out! So, for better or worse, here I am (again)! My two qualifying Borsalino's with which I am most happily, a Borsalino Brother.

R.P. - Look at these photos. Do you like the look? If you do than it fits PERFECTLY! Believe me, nobody is going to fault you for your choice of jacket and it's fit. If we were on a mission together, I'd say "great jacket, my friend!" and never give another thought to the subject. (You look...
That is Col. Curtis LeMay being interviewed. You can see by his demeanor that he is pretty much no nonsense and by the book. Fascinating to see and hear him at the beginning of his illustrious career, prior to his victories in the PTO. Excellent - thanks for sharing...
Sure looks like a Gleason move - though, could just as well be Bob Hope! I know I've seen it - It jogs a memory but I couldn't find anything similar on YouTube. -dixon cannon

A fire at the NPRC in St. Louis on July 12, 1973, destroyed about 80 percent of the records for Army personnel discharged between November 1, 1912, and January 1, 1960. About 75 percent of the records for Air Force personnel with surnames from "Hubbard" through "Z" discharged between...
Great thread! Here's some more.
John F Kennedy wearing M-421 jacket
I've seen this photo many time and never discerned the jacket! A Nice M-421 on the "bay" at the moment...
Ah, yes - I see that now not only at 2:10 but in the shot of the still photograph as well. A2, indeed. Any idea what the narrator is saying at the end of the piece? -dixon cannon
Very fascinating JTG! Am I to understand that this little video is a commercial for a wristwatch?!! What a production! I don't think the jacket is an A-2 though - perhaps a B3. The aircraft too are strange - obviously not WWII or 'Flying Tigers' - I believe they are Chinese CJ-6 'Nanchang'...
Great display but they look very feminine, as if in a fashion show. I suppose that doesn't matter for display purposes but the presentation would be more realistic if they each had a theatrical make-over. JMHO, as the kids say!
