In every city there's one building, that though lost forever, ignites the spirit of preservation. Pennsylvania Station for New York,
the Fox Theatre for San Francisco
and the Richfield Building here in Los Angeles.

Saw this yesterday in Pasadena, and so very glad I did. I'm not fond of war films, as I detest the necessary evil of war with every bone of my body, but it's so much more than that, it's a human film. In fact, I was impressed at its realistic depiction of war, not glorifying or waxing over the...
I absolutely love this film! -Dave :D
"Mrs. Henderson Presents" tells the story of the Windmill Theatre's founding by Laura Henderson (Judi Dench), whose husband left her a widow in the 1930's. She came home from India with some money and nothing to do. "I'm bored with widowhood," she told...
Yes, Chrysler downsized in '79 too. Cadillacs would've been even bigger if it hadn't been for the realization that most garages couldn't fit a car longer than twenty feet!

I thought Harley Earl was great, trouble is I love the cars he designed, not the cars now...especially now. It was as if Buick was saying "we used to design really great cars, won't you buy one of our mediocre designs today?"
The other day I saw the DVD for sale, and when debating whether to buy it or wait, the thought crossed my mind of how I love Julia and hate Julie...they should produce a special version with just Julia! ;)
I had a vintage partner for awhile, a less than ideal experience! I now prefer someone "normal", as while I have an appreciation for vintage, it can be taken to the level of obsession, something I found disturbing.
