Oh yes, I can see fawn now in the beach picture. In snow however, looks grey/greenish! Very nice colour! :)

Doesn’t seem like a popular Akubra felt color. Not many results when looking it up :(

What would be a comparable Akubra color to Stetson’s natural? https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1952/5621/products/0057BS2021-02-11_530x@2x.jpg

Pretty interesting. Have you gave a thought as to why imperial hats were more comfortable to you? Is it because of the sweat band or the overall characteristics of the felt on the heritage felt? I ask that as I am eyeing out Fed IVs.

Appreciate the answers, @Frunobulax @belfastboy. It’s just that online pictures can always be deceiving, complicated further more by variation in production runs.

Evening folks. I have a question. Would you be so kind as to describe via pictures or words the difference in colour between Stetson's caribou and Akubra's moonstone? I have a stratoliner on the way, and was eyeing out a moonstone stylemaster. I am debating whether the shades of grey are too...

Hey folks, I come to you with 2 questions if possible. -What are the current consensus about Hats By The 100? is AustralianGear run by the same people running Hats By The 100? -Flipping through this thread I have fallen in love with CDs. For folks who have Banjo Patersons (the first hat that...

I live on the west coast of Canada in British Columbia. Our weather consists of a lot of rains, but we have been getting some really warm Summers. My intended use is for overnight hikes early late Spring to early Summer, some kayaking trips, and as a general casual beater around town to go...

Appreciate the reply, Bryan. I read about your odd experience earlier in the thread with sizing and was hoping you would chime in. The curling in the sun, is that because the leather is getting dry possibly? Have you tried treating it with a conditioner of some sort to restore its resilience...

    Barmah Hats

Sorry to revive an old thread. I am interested in getting one of those 'Roo hats. I have two questions. 1- How is the sizing? If I am 57cm, should I go a size up? Do they all come with some sizing tape? 2- How do they handle the wind without a chin strap? Are they a flight risk in gusts...

It does look pretty good on you, sir. I am not sure if it's the background or just the natural light, but it looks a tad on the tan shade. I don't mind that! Wouldn't mind knowing the maker.

Appreciate the reply, Brent. That's what I am trying to get at, it's a very ubiquitous color in the western hat word. To me personally, when I see it worn, it stands out. Neutrality to me is more along the lines of medium gray/brown or even black albeit leaning formal. I have read through many...

Hey folks, first time posting. I am new to lid collecting. I am trying to dabble with different colors to see how they fit with others and expand my taste. For those who have and enjoy Silverbelly hats, how loud is the color truly? It seems a tad too bright from the pictures. Like Stetson OR's...
